This project included the construction for a new 409,600 square-foot, tilt-up speculative distribution facility with 32’ clear height. The building features six storefronts and double loaded dock doors. It is the second building of an industrial park development in Sparks, NV and United Construction was the General Contractor for both buildings.
This project included construction for a new 12,000 square-foot residential facility and a client resource center for women going through treatment to overcome substance abuse disorders. The 20-bed facility was designed as a nurturing healing residence that includes dorm rooms, a commercial kitchen and outdoor spaces that are conducive to a therapeutic environment. As the Design-Build Contractor, United Construction worked closely with the Architect to use innovative design and building methods to achieve a design that aligned with STEP2’s goals.
This project included the construction of a Temporary Radiation Treatment Area for Renown Hospital. The new 1,395 square-foot, standalone building houses a radiation machine where oncology patients will be treated during the expansion of Renown’s existing facility. The Temporary Radiation Facility features a lobby with waiting room area, patient changing rooms, and a treatment room. As the General Contractor, United Construction Company was responsible for all of the site improvements including foundations, underground utilities, parking lot, sidewalks, landscaping, and site lighting.
This project included the design and construction of a new 11,000 square-foot church. The masonry building featured a sanctuary, second-story prayer room, classrooms and gathering spaces.
Eagle Valley II is a 566,875 SF tilt-up, speculative distribution facility that features 36’ clear height ceilings. As the design-build contractor, United Construction provided in-house design services.
Built on top of a three-story, underground parking garage in Downtown Reno, is the recently completed Starbucks developed by Blake Smith. The modern 1,920 square-foot standalone structure features a drive thru and outside courtyard seating area.
This project included the build-out of a 13,200 square-foot clean room and workshop in an existing warehouse for a laboratory supply manufacturer. The project required new RTU’s, upgraded electrical service, underground plumbing, a mechanical platform above the clean room, a new exterior window in the clean room and warehouse upgrades.
This 621,738 square-foot distribution center features automated material handling equipment, 140,000 square-foot mezzanine, customer show room and 10,000 square-feet of office space with employee break room. The building serves as SanMar’s Western Region Distribution Center and was designed to maximize space for shipping/receiving, and parking.
This project included the renovation of a 331,000 square-foot existing plastics extrusion facility into a manufacturing facility for the production of cans for food products. The work consisted of removing and deepening slab sections, adding footings for the manufacturing equipment, building a 30,000 square foot equipment mezzanine over the production areas, upgrading the electrical service, providing air conditioning to the facility, and bringing the facility to cGMP standards.
