Ken Rice is Vice President of Project Development and Customer Service, a newly created position at United Construction. Ken’s prior role at United Construction was Preconstruction Project Manager. Ken’s dedication, work ethic and performance during his history at United Construction earned him this well-deserved promotion of his current role. Ken has 30 years of experience in the construction industry and Ken’s commitment to excellence continues to inspire and drive his continued success.
Ken’s recent project experience at United Construction includes managing the preconstruction process for the largest project in United Construction history – the Park at McCarran project. The project included site development of 70+ acres, a 997,000 square foot build-to-suit facility for The Ames Companies, two speculative inventory buildings totaling 350,000 square feet and related interior tenant improvements.
Currently, Ken is managing the design and preconstruction work on a new corporate headquarters building for one of United Construction’s valued customers and is focusing on pre-design work for various potential new development sites and buildings in our project pursuit pipeline.
As Vice President of Project Development and Customer Service, Ken’s primary responsibilities are managing pre-design (project development) work and select customer service activities. Ken is active in assessing and acquiring new projects, leading pre-design efforts, performing site visits and evaluations during pre-design and construction project phases, and value-added customer service efforts.
