Casey Gunther

Vice President of Operations

As Vice President of Operations, Casey leads more than 30 project professionals across northern and southern Nevada, ensuring United Construction’s projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and with exceptional quality. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, Casey has worked as a superintendent, project manager, estimator, and senior project manager — giving him a well-rounded perspective on every phase of the construction process. He has successfully delivered facilities as large as 663,000 square feet and valued up to $30 million.

Casey is a proud disabled veteran whose leadership journey began in the United States Marine Corps. As a Corporal, he held the billet of Staff NCO, responsible for leading 90 Marines and instilling discipline, accountability, and teamwork. After being honorably discharged, he earned his civil engineering degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, while working full-time as a project administrator and project engineer — an experience that shaped his hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to construction.

Teamwork and service remain at the core of Casey’s leadership. In his hometown of Battle Mountain, he volunteers at community events, and supports veteran initiatives as an active member of Disabled American Veterans. His dedication to his profession and his community was recognized in 2020 when he was named to Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s “20 Under 40.”
